Miami Plastic Surgeon Dr. Leonard Hochstein Hosts Event to Raise Money for Foundation for Women’s Cancer

No better time to spread awareness and show love for a charitable cause than during the holiday season. And this year, Dr. Leonard Hochstein and his wife Lisa Hochstein decided to start early, in October, by hosting a Halloween fundraiser for the Foundation for Women’s Cancer and raised more than $ 18,000. Having graciously held this memorable function at their home, this is the fifth consecutive year that Dr. Hochstein and his wife Lisa have hosted an event for a charitable cause.

Selecting the Foundation for Women’s Cancer as this year’s beneficiary was an easy decision for the duo, after learning about a colleague’s recent diagnosis. Dr. Hochstein found out that his business manager, Michelle Heavens, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer just seven months ago. Acknowledging that Michelle has been a vital part of his practice’s success, he felt it was important to bring light to a foundation that provides awareness, education, and research. This event attested to Dr. Hochstein’s support with the Foundation for Women’s Cancer, a national organization that promotes prevention, early detection, and optimal treatment.

Dr. Hochstein’s involvement in promoting the importance of a woman’s health and well-being is no surprise, considering he has devoted his practice to providing individuals with a newfound sense of confidence and self-esteem through innovative treatments and effective surgical procedures.
